Carlin Trammel has produced a range of videos as work for hire. Most notably perhaps were a series of videos produced for Sports Publishing called the "Beyond the Book" series. Sports Publishing released books by celebrity authors and the books contained DVDs featuring interviews with these authors. The celebrities featured were John Starks (NBA star), Clyde Drexler (NBA star), Dave Meltzer (wrestling expert), Rick Telander (Sports Illustrated writer), and Dick Enberg (sports announcer).

Also for Sports Publishing, Carlin produced dozens of VTLs (Video Title Links) that Sports Publishing's marketing department commissioned in order to be able to convince book buyers through online video to purchase their book. This approach predated sites such as YouTube and Google video. Some of the VTLs are featured on YouTube and have quite a bit of popularity.

Carlin has produced commercials for Rowland Publishing products. Two for Bay Life Magazine and three for Tallahassee Magazine including one that showcased the It Happened One Night story.

Recently, Carlin produced a promotional video for Ambassadors for Christ in Tallhassee and produced several videos for the 2007 SonQuest event held in Orlando, Fla.
